Two US soldiers die in separate incidents in Iraq

Two US soldiers died Monday in Iraq, the US military said. One soldier died from injuries sustained during an attack in northern Iraq, the US command said. The Task Force Lightning soldier's patrol came under rocket fire in the Kirkuk area on Sunday. Another soldier was killed and two more were injured east of Baghdad in a non-combat incident when their vehicle overturned and caught fire. The cause is under investigation, the military said. No further details of either incident were immediately available.
