Two killed in Lebanon gunfight between pro-Syrian and anti-Syrian groups

Security officials said on Wednesday that a gunfight between two rival Christian groups left two people dead and three wounded in northern Lebanon. The clash between the anti-Syrian Lebanese Forces and pro-Syrian Marada group took place early Wednesday in the village of Bsarma in the northern district of Koura. According to the report, a member of each group was killed. The clashes were triggered by a disagreement over hanging rival posters. Officials said the three wounded were a policeman and two members of the Lebanese Forces. The clash comes a day after Lebanon's rival politicians began a national dialogue in which they agreed on easing tension.
