Two US Marines were killed in separate attacks in Anbar province, the military said Monday. The Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit died Sunday of wounds sustained due to enemy action in the insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad. The names of the Marines were not released pending notification of relatives. The deaths came a day after 25 US troops were killed in a particularly bloody weekend for American forces in Iraq.
