World donors plan long-term treatment for Palestinian economy

International aid donors are looking to breathe fresh life into the Palestinian economy when they meet Palestinians and Israeli government officials in London next month, a United Nations official said Tuesday.
A UN official in Jerusalem said the May 2 London session would be of special significance in light of a special conference in Paris last December, where donors pledged $7.4 billion over three years.
