A cellular phone video, shot by one of the prison guards moments before their bus went up in flames during the Carmel Fire, killing 44 people, was released by the Knesset on Monday.
The clip shows flames rapidly consuming trees leading up to the highway as firefighters make one desperate attempt to hold back the inferno.

A voice from inside the bus can be heard, saying: The windows are starting to explode. Don't tell me to calm down, I'm scared."
Another voice asks the prison guards to sit down, "you're bothering the driver."
As the flames creep closer to the bus, yet another voice tells the guards, "Let's be quiet."
