MK Eitan Cabel (Labor) will ask the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday afternoon
to enable him to challenge Histadrut Labor Federation chief Ofer Eini for the
chairmanship of the powerful union.
An internal Histadrut court ruled
last month that Cabel could not run because he had not paid his NIS 180 monthly
membership dues for the past year before the race was initiated.
