Rainfall returns after brief respite

North and Center to experience showers throughout day, snow expected to fall over Mt, Hermon.

After several days of sunshine and warmer spring temperatures, scattered showers returned to northern and central Israel on Wednesday night.
The rain was expected to continue throughout Thursday, accompanied by below average temperatures and gusty winds.
In addition to the rainfall, snow was expected to fall over Mt. Hermon in the North.
The Israel Meteorological Service warned of a risk of flash floods in the Judean desert and dead sea basins with scattered showers continuing from the North to the northern Negev on Friday.
Saturday was expected to be mostly clear, but cold, with a risk of frost in sensitive areas at night.
Sunday was forecasted to be significantly warmer with fair skies prevailing.
