On Monday night Britain's House of Commons voted  274 to 12, in favor of recognizing a Palestinian state. Though the move is at this stage, purely symbolic, it drew some harsh criticism from the Israeli government. The Jerusalem Post’s London correspondent Jerry Lewis breaks downs exactly what happened in the British parliament and why, and what impact this vote could have in the future for both the UK and Israel.

Then, tackling another major issue that has dominated headlines worldwide in recent weeks, the Post's Health reporter Judy Siegel-Itzkovich assesses how much of a threat the Ebola virus disease poses to Israel.
