Camp Kimama Israel 2011

Adventure and Fun Under Israel's Sun

Camp Kimama Israel has taken the idea of overnight Jewish summer camp to new levels. By holding a top-notch, Jewish summer camp in Israel and bringing together Jewish youth from around the world, Kimama delivers a truly unique and transformative experience.  Celebrating its 8th summer in 2011, Kimama has grown to attract campers from more than 30 countries including Israel, the United States, Canada, and various locations in Europe and Asia.
What do these hundreds of Jewish campers all have in common?  A love of adventure, learning, nature and making new friends.
Kimama campers are well-supervised by professional, bilingual staffers who conduct each and every activity in both Hebrew and English.  Offering experiences you’d find at a typical American summer camp – including land and water sports; arts and crafts; drama and music; camping and orienteering; and specialized programs in leadership development – Kimama goes several steps further, instilling in their campers a love of Israel and Judaism and providing a unique way for them to develop a strong sense of belonging to a diverse Jewish People..
Campers between the ages of seven and 17 enjoy one or more two-week sessions at Kimama’s beautiful and newly renovated campus on the shores of the Jordan River in Israel’s Upper Galilee region. There they will develop new friendships and create new memories with their peers from around the world that will last a lifetime.
Camp Kimama is certain to deliver a positive, empowering, educational and eye-opening experience to campers that will forever remain a part of who they are.
Registration for summer 2011 is now underway.
