IDC Herzliya’s Raphael Recanati International School introduces a new master’s program for the 2011-2012 academic year. The program in Organizational Behavior (OB) will be offered jointly by the School of Psych

ology and the Arison School of Business of IDC Herzliya. Students will have the opportunity to understand, address, and diagnose the pressing issues that confront organizational development, leadership and management in Israel and around the world. The program is unique in its multidisciplinary approach, joining the fields of social psychology, organizational psychology, counseling, business administration and management.
The program features:* A “scientific-practitioner” model, by which students are exposed to both cutting edge theory and practical fieldwork opportunities* An internationally renowned faculty of leading experts in their fields* A broad spectrum of courses, workshops, seminars, and electives* Two tracks (with and without a thesis)* Specialized training in organizational diagnosis, organizational development,  organizational interventions, counseling skills, executive coaching, team development and leadership
The OB program builds on IDC Herzliya’s strength in combining interdisciplinary theory and research with applied real-world experience, and its reputation as pioneer in the academic, practical and international arenas.
Among the courses to be offered in the OB program are:
Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods; Introduction to Organizational Change and Development; Professional Ethics; Organizational Management and Design; Social Cognition and Positive Psychology; Emotions in Decision Making; Using Humor in Organizational Counseling; and, Leadership Development.
Instructors  include a core faculty consisting of the field’s leading lecturers among them  Prof. Dan Zakay, Prof. Mario Mikulincer, Prof. Orit Tykocinski and Prof. Roni Michaely.
