25 soccer fans were arrested before the derby match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv at Bloomfield Stadium on Sunday evening on suspicion of fighting and attempting to smuggle fireworks and smoke grenades into the stadium. Despite the arrests, some 20 smoke grenades and fireworks were thrown onto the pitch during the game.
