A squash win for Israel

Games We Play: Daniel Poleshchuk justifies his top seed in the boys Under 15 category at the Belgium Junior Open.

At a tournament in which 300 of the top European squash players from no fewer than 27 countries participated, top Israeli squash player Daniel Poleshchuk justified his top seed in the boys Under 15 category, by winning the Belgium Junior Open squash tournament last week.
Speed around the court coupled with clinical finishing made him one of the most watchable players in the tournament.
There were a total of 11 Israeli teens who all justified their seeds.
Ido Bornstein finished 18th after being seeded 43rd in the Under 13 competition, and Nadav Raziel finished 31st after being seeded 41st in the Under 15 competition.
