All 12 BSL teams visited Yad Vashem yesterday in a trip organized by the league in the wake of the Guy Pnini scandal. The Maccabi Tel Aviv forward (above, 10)was suspended and fined by his club and the league after he was caught calling Hapoel Tel Aviv player Jonathan Skjoldebrand a Nazi during a showdownbetween the teams at the start of the month.
"This visit is extremely important because I think that everyone leaves this place a better person, and certainly a more sensitive one," said Maccabi Tel Aviv coach David Blatt.
"This is an educational activity. It helps put things in perspective."
