Former Chicago Bull will give a basketball clinic to a mixed group of Israeli and Palestinian youth during the two day visit.

Former NBA All-Star and Chicago Bull BJ Armstrong and New York Mets General Manager Omar Minaya were due to arrive in Israel on Monday as part of a peace delegation.
Armstrong, who won the NBA title three times playing alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen as part of the legendary Bulls teams in the 1990s, will give a basketball clinic to a mixed group of Israeli and Palestinian youth during the two day visit.
The trip is being organized by the Peres Center for Peace and the group will be headed by top sports agent Arn Tellem, who supports the center's Twinned Peace Basketball Schools project.
On Monday the delegation will visit a basketball training session of Israeli and Palestinian boys from Kiryat Gat and Jericho at the Rene Cassin school in Jerusalem.
And on Wednesday Armstrong will give a basketball clinic to Israeli and Palestinian girls in Kiryat Gat.
Gal Peleg, Head of Peres Center for Peace sports department expressed his appreciation. "It is the first time Israeli and Palestinian students from the Peace Basketball schools will meet a former NBA champion," Peleg said.
"I am happy that past stars find the time and will to come to Israel for activities designed to bring young people on either side closer together. Sports is an effective means to break the barriers between the sides."
The Peres Center for Peace has been running 35 twinned soccer and basketball schools in Israeli and Palestinian cities for boys and girls since 2002.
The children receive enrichment lessons in English, learn the language of the "other", learn math and receive help with their homework.
