Yossi Benayoun scored in the 72nd minute of West Ham's 1-1 draw with host Sunderland on Sunday. Sunderland went ahead in the final minute of the first half when West Ham goalkeeper Roy Carroll blocked a shot from Liam Lawrence, but Tommy Miller followed up to fire home the rebound. The visitors hit back in the second half and Benayoun shot home after an attempted clearance struck Miller and bounced into the Israeli midfielder's path.
