Games We Play - Lawn Bowling: Kaminsky, Harris crowned champs

The climax of this year's lawn bowling season in Israel took place this past weekend at the Ramat Gan green, with George Kaminsky and Laureen Harris crowned national champions.
In the men's final, Kaminsky displayed great skills to triumph over Rami Oron. The ladies' singles was closely contested, with Harris playing superbly to beat a skillful and experienced opponent in Edna Zomberg.
This year's competition also determined the prestigious Masters' list. Among the Masters competitors to represent Israel internationally are mother and son, Dolores Linde and Denis Phillips, as well as father and son, Gordon and Colin Silberstein.
This year's Masters competition will be held on November 7 and 8 at the Ra'anana Bowls Club.
