The Dimona Mean Judeans came away with two wins in last week's Israel Softball Association action, 5-1 over Ziontours and 14-4 against the Dawgs. Penticon squeaked by Galil Twisters 7-6, Crazy Richard forfeited to the Tigers and Ziontours forfeited to Shimshon Hi-tech. In the women's league, Beit Shemesh drubbed Dimona 29-7 and ISP Tel Aviv crushed Jerusalem 24-7. Yaron of Dimona and Ziontours' Jeff Muoio were locked in a tight pitcher's duel until Amichai's home run broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning and Dimona scored four total in the inning. Elyaheed's shoestring catch on the line in left field with two runners on in the bottom of the sixth saved the game for Dimona. Gil Siegel drove in Ziontours' lone run, but 10 errors ultimately led to its downfall.
