Karin Wysman finished in first place of the "C" Division at the Ga'ash Golf Club's Monthly Medal Competition. Once again, weather hampered the Monthly Medal, and only the "C" Division was completed on Monday before a rainout on Tuesday. Wysman's net-66 was followed by Emanuel Popovich on net-70. The Wine Center at Ga'ash gave prizes for "Nearest to the Pin," which went to Ros Brodie, who was 4.12 meters from the pin on the par-3 hole No. 4, playing 120 meters in howling winds. In the on-going 2006/07 Knock-out Competition, Adele Katz beat Jill Pik to reach the finals of the "B" Division. Earlier in the month, Amos Aharoni had a hole-in-one on the par-3 hole No. 9, playing 160 meters. The golf club members are now looking forward to the "Texas Scramble" Competition, to be held on Purim.
