Anastasia Gloushkov recorded the biggest achievement of her career on Saturday,
coming in fourth fourth in the Synchronized Swimming solo event at the European
Championships in Budapest.
The 25-year-old, who represented Israel at the
last two Olympic Games, is also competing in the duet competition with Inna
Yoffe, with the two to perform in the final on Sunday after finishing sixth in
Gloushkov scored 90.600 points in the solo competition
and will be delighted with her performance after ending the last two European
Championships in 2006 and 2008 in sixth place.
World champion Natalia
Ischenko of Russia took the European title in the solo free event, scoring
Andrea Fuentes of Spain was second with 96.600 points,
ahead of Ukraine’s Lolita Ananasova with 93.000.
