Karmiel man suspected of bringing volleyball players to Israel illegally

A 58-year-old Karmiel resident was investigated Tuesday on suspicion of falsifying documents in order to bring foreign volleyball players to Israel.
The suspect, a sports agent from eastern Europe, also allegedly took money earmarked for the international volleyball association and for the players' home teams.
