Legendary soccer goalie Ya'acov Hodorov passed away Sunday morning at the age of 79 after suffering a serious illness. Hodorov, an Israel Prize winner, was considered one of the best goalies in the world in his time. He played for Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Ramat Gan, Maccabi Rishon Lezion, Shimshon Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon, winning the state championships with Hapoel Tel Aviv in 1957. The time for the funeral has not yet been announced.
