Paralympic Games: Two more medals for Israel in Beijing

Weinberg and Kramer were a set away from winning Israel's first gold.

Inbal Pezaro won her third silver medal of the Beijing Paralympics on Friday and Shraga Weinberg and Boaz Kramer claimed the Israeli delegation's sixth medal of the Games in wheelchair tennis on Saturday. Pezaro finished second in the 100 meters breaststroke in a time of 1:57.75 minutes to claim her fifth career Paralympics medal. Also on Saturday, Weinberg and Kramer were a set away from winning Israel's first gold medal in Beijing, but lost 0-6, 6-4, 2-6 in the final of the wheelchair tennis doubles tournament to No. 1 seeds David Wagner and Nick Taylor of the US.
