Bnei Yehuda striker Eliran Atar is among the 10 candidates for the FIFA Puskás Award handed to the player to have scored the best goal of the year, but is set to miss the World Player gala on December 21 as it falls on the same day as his team's match against Maccabi Haifa. The 22-year-old striker was for the award for his sensational overhead bicycle kick from the edge of the penalty area against Maccabi Netanya at the start of February. Atar faces stern competition for the title, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Andres Iniesta and Emmanuel Adebayor among the other candidates. Fans can vote for their favorite on until December 12.
