Swimming: Gostomelsky sets another Israeli record

Anya Gostomelsky finished eighth in the Women's 100m backstroke final during the World Short Course Swimming Championships at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Thursday. Gostomelsky clocked a time of 58.49 seconds, six hundredths of a second slower than the Israeli record she set in the semis on Wednesday. The Israeli did, however, set a new Israeli best mark in the 50m butterfly on Thursday, advancing to Friday's final from fourth position in a time of 25.99s.
