Shahar Pe'er will face Kim Clijsters in the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami on Sunday, her first meeting with the Belgian since she came out of retirement last year.

The 22-year-old Israeli, ranked number 20 in the world, thrashed Alla Kudryavtseva (78) 6-1, 6-0 within 45 minutes on Friday and will be looking for the first win of her career over Clijsters (16), who beat Pe'er in their only meeting to date in 2007.

Dudi Sela (71) was knocked out in the second round of the men's tournament in Key Biscayne on Saturday, losing 6-1, 6-2 to world No. 12 Fernando Gonzalez.
