The Israeli tennis duo of Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich have ended their run in the year-ending Masters Cup in Shanghai after losing to Martin Damm and Leander Paes 4:6, 6:7. After losing their second straight match, Ram and Erlich's record in the red group dropped to 1-2, which is not enough to clinch a semi-final birth. However, the Israeli pair has plenty to feel optimistic about as the year draws to an end. First, because of their actual appearance at the Masters, the first ever by Israelis, and second because they managed, in the only game they won, to beat the world's #1 doubles team of the Bryan brothers.
