The Rockets got back to winning ways in a highly entertaining 5-3 victory over Bina Boyz in the Jerusalem soccer league last weekend. With the score level at halftime, Yishai Last produced an inspirational display while scoring three to ensure a Rocket win. Ben Levy and Zak Ford also scored. Egert & Cohen earned a much-needed victory coming back from behind against Heimishe Essen to win 4-1. Yehuda Mcmall capped an impressive Egert performance by firing home a hat trick and Alistair Lachman also netted. Belgium was also victorious in a majestic 7-3 win over Derech. Derech's David Leiwy's was superb, scoring two, but it was not enough as Belgium fought hard with Chaim Gothold scoring three, Ronnie Perel two and Yisrael Yanis one. Renaissance maintained its unbeaten record with a 4-1 defeat of Dr. Dov. Man of-the-match Yakov Nussbaum scored one and Gedalia Aurbach two. Angel's Bakery completed a comfortable 3-0 win over Hilton. Jonny Hughes, Shimi Miller and Zvi Balbin all found the net. A spectacular Yehuda Gorden strike saw Ben Maimon defeat Goldfus Insurance 1-0. Also last weekend, it was: Bugs 4, DP Sha'arei 2; Club Med 7, Sha'alvim 0; Mekor Rishon 2, Kick It 1; and Menucha V'Simcha 5, Ohr David 0.
