Early reports claim the strikes targeted sites in the northern Gaza Strip. Terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip fired at IDF aircraft in an attempt to down them.
An IDF tank attacked a Hamas post in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday after three rockets were fired from Gaza.
The coordinator of government activities in the territories said the the organization is “looking into the matter with the relevant parties and the government of Qatar." Hamas denied the report.
"The residents of the Gaza border communities are victims of the prime minister's cynicism and weakness," Blue and White MK Ofer Shelah said.

"The chances of an escalation in the Gaza Strip have increased," a Palestinian source told the Lebanese Al-Akhbar on Wednesday, according to Channel 13 News.
The report comes after it was announced earlier today that Iron Dome batteries were being deployed to multiple locations throughout the country.
