Arab Israeli Conflict

Earlier in the day, Israel's security cabinet approved a new settlement that was promised by Netanyahu to former residents of Amona.
"Expanding settlements in the West Bank will not leave any land left for Palestinians to negotiate for and leave no basis for a viable two-state solution," says senior Fatah official.
The four West Bank settlements were dismantled during the 2005 Disengagement plan.
"The entire public expects of the prime minister not to allow any hostile element, whether they be leftist groups, judicial or clerical bodies, stop the construction," say residents of Amona.

The announcement came less than 24 hours after Israel announced the advancement and/or authorization of 3,000 homes in other settlements.
