Video: Americans in Israel cast their ballots

As election day nears, Americans living in Israel are encouraged to vote.

While US President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney were nearing the end of a very tight race, Americans in Israel are making their voices heard by lodging absentee ballots.

On Tuesday night, iVoteIsrael, an organization which encourages US citizens in Israel to vote in the November elections, held a voting evening in the Orthodox Union center in Jerusalem. iVoteIsrael representatives were on hand to help and direct American Israelis fill out their forms and take their votes to the US consulate.iVoteIsrael will hold it’s 8th and last debate between representatives of Democrats and Republicans Abroad Israel on Sunday night at the AACI center in Jerusalem. This will also be the last chance for Americans to cast their votes from Israel before the elections.
