Start: Damon Junction (routes 672 and 721). Bus 37 or 37a from the University of Haifa Finish: At the university. Bus 46 from Hof Hacarmel intercity bus/railway station. Length: 7 km. Recommended seasons: Spring, but fine all year, except in wet conditions Level of difficulty: Fairly severe. Take regular breaks. Not for four-wheel-drive vehicles or mountain bikes. Time: 4 hours. Map: Scale 1:50,000, Map 4 (The Carmel) Bring: 2 liters of water per person, a sun hat, sunscreen and sturdy shoes with traction for walking. Include a compass, mobile phone, first-aid kit, penknife and a powerful flashlight. No mobile phone reception for most of the walk. Accommodation: This walk ends in the Haifa area.
