High Court Justice Salim Jubran has granted El Al Israel Airways a hearing on its petition against a decision to give Israir designated carrier status on the Tel Aviv-New York route.
The petition will be brought before a tribunal of the High Court, which will be assembled no later than February 16. El Al brought its petition against Tourism Minister Avraham Hirschson, the Transportation Ministry, Civil Aviation Authority, Government Transportation Authority, the Israeli government, and Israir Aviation and Tourism Ltd.
