In this week’s 20 Questions, Deborah Danan interviewed Libya expert Yehudit Ronen about the current upheaval in Libya. Yehudit Ronen is a professor at Tel Aviv University, and she authored the book Qaddafi’s Libya in World Politics.

When asked how far Muammar Gaddafi is willing to go stay in power as Libya’s leader, Yehudit Ronen said, ‘in a desperate moment Gaddafi may do anything.’

‘Gaddafi will not be hanged in the central square in Tripoli,’ continued Ronen. ‘Before that he will die, as he said, by the very last bullet.’
