It follows the relationship between Ruth, a young haredi novelist who's written a tempestuous first novel, her family, and Alma, her publisher who wants to nurture her obvious talent. The trouble starts when the family discovers not only that she's written a novel, but that family secrets are revealed in it. The situation is compounded by Alma's sticky relationship with her own newly religious daughter. This is a play about loyalties, faith and the dreadful rifts in Israeli society.
