Auteur director Ruth Kanner and her theater group are rehearsing their adaptation of Manfred Franke's book Process of Murder that treats the events of Kristallnacht, the infamous night in November 1938 when the Nazis carried out a murderous progrom against the Jews. Franke's novel is "a protocol on fear, silence and evasion, on brutality, abuse and murder," says Kanner, adding that "there's still a lot for us here to learn about what happened there."
The play will open at Varda Hall in Tel Aviv's Suzanne Dellal Center in April.
