The 11th annual Beresheet Festival, which normally occurs in the fall, will take place during the summer break this year, from July 14-16 at the Golan Beach on the Kinneret. The new-age event offers a wide variety of activities and attractions, including an on-site holistic village with workshops for the mind and body, a singles mixer arranged by astrological signs, body painting, drum circles, fire juggling, a circus, a mud pool, massages, a sports recreation area and more. There will also be a spot for prayer, in line with the Carlebach style.
On the performance end, Beresheet will offer a "vibes" stage, a rock stage, a "Hyde Park" stage for jamming, an "extreme" stage for skateboarding and other risky behavior and a DJ stage with parties and raves.
Ecological awareness will play a large part in the festival, too. More information is available at www.beresheet.co.il.
