The Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv currently has five plays with English translation for the months of January and February. Real-time subtitles are available to Anat Gov's bittersweet comedy "Househusband" (Jan 17-31, Feb 14); Neil Simon's witty comedy "Chapter Two" (Jan 24); Yael Ronen's hard-hitting "Plonter" (Jan 8, 21-29; Feb 5-6); Shmuel Hasfari's new play "Netanya" (Feb 2) and Hasfari's Israeli play "Milano" (Feb 21). "Netanya" launched this month and as its title suggests takes place in the city of Netanya. It is a play about four residents in an old age home who are just trying to survive and the younger generation who would prefer to sell the real estate and make a quick profit. As is customary with Hasfari's writing, the play is written with humor and great sensitivity.
