In celebration of Hebrew Book Week the Society for the Protection of Nature is offering special programs.

In celebration of Hebrew Book Week, which begins today and continues through June 17, the Society for the Protection of Nature is offering the following programs:
On Monday, June 12 at 8 p.m. "Jasmine's Aroma in Sergei's Courtyard" will premiere in cooperation with the Jerusalem Writers' Union and the Popular University. The poet Yaakov Yaakov will present his new book Jasmine with author Eli Ameed. The event is free, but reservations are required.
An evening in memory of Professor Ze'ev Vilnai will take place Tuesday, June 13 at 7 p.m. Authors such as Dan Banya Sari and poets Balfor Hakak, Yaakov Yaakov, and Aliza Greenberg Tor-Malka will talk about Jerusalem. This event is also free, with required reservations.
On Thursday, June 15 at 8 p.m. an evening in word and melody will be devoted to Amos Oz's A Tale of Love and Darkness. A chronology of the Klausner (Oz) family will also focus on several famed personalities close to the Oz's - Shaul Tchernikovsky, Shai Agnon, and others, together with an accompaniment of Russian songs from the period. Storyteller Shmuel Cohen will be joined by musician Nitza Cohen.
In addition, DOMO, the home for Lovers of Cooking and Hospitality will offer a week-long cooking demonstration. Instructors will present sushi, pashtidas, baked goods, and more throughout the week.
Tickets are NIS 35 (NIS 30 for members of SPNI and students). All programs will take place in Sergei's Courtyard, 13 Heleni HaMalka, Jerusalem. Seating is limited. For tickets and reservations call 02-625-2357.
