His fiancee's delayed conversion to Judaism is the reason Hebrew-speaking Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen hasn't married yet, London's Daily Mail reported last week. Isla Fisher, a star of Wedding Crashers and the mother of Cohen's daughter Olive, has been too busy filming her next comedy to complete the process, an unnamed source told the paper's Web site. The actress was "supposed to spend her time after giving birth hard at work on her Torah studies, and that's gone far slower than expected," the source said. The incomplete conversion is causing tensions, the article went on, between the bride-to-be and her fiance's Israeli-born mother. Cohen, for his part, earned widespread American media coverage earlier this month through reports that he had duped Israeli political analyst Yossi Alpher and a Palestinian colleague into participating in a sham interview (unbeknownst to them) for his upcoming mockumentary Bruno, in which he plays a gay Austrian fashion designer traveling to different parts of the globe.
