Just one day before tonight's concert at Tel Aviv's Hangar 11, jazz musician George Duke cancelled his performance. Duke, who had still planned to perform as of Monday night, changed his plans because of ongoing violence in northern Israel. The performer joins a number of other artists in canceling or abbreviating his schedule in Israel due to the conflict. Jazz group The Rosenberg Trio became the first foreign act to cancel a performance in Israel last week, while a number of other concerts and cultural festivals have been postponed or called off.
