Electronic-pop star Ivri Lider is wrapping up rehearsals for his new winter tour in Israel. Whereas his summer concerts filled the country's big auditoriums, his winter shows are geared to more intimate surroundings. "I've overhauled the line-up, and the winter concerts will include a number of songs [my backup band and I haven't] played for a while," Lider told The Jerusalem Post. Most of the songs will come from Lider's latest album, It's Not the Same. His tour kicks off on November 18 at Tel Aviv's Tzavta. Taking a quick break between now and then, Lider will jet off to Toronto for one performance there on Nov.12 at the Danforth Music Hall. "It's an experience to play abroad," said Lider. "I want to play all over the world. I think it's important for people to see what's being done in Israel culturally. I love playing to new audiences." Tickets for Lider's winter tour can be bought at agencies throughout the country.
