The Seventh Annual International Spring Festival in Rishon Lezion is ready to take the stage. And this year's line-up is rich in different cultures with some 130 artists from 10 countries taking part in the event. Among the highlighted acts are Atongo Zimba and his band that will wow audiences with their mix of African ballads, funky jazz and rap. Hailing from Ghana, Zimba and his band will show off unique instruments including the molo, a two-string calabash guitar. Zimba is renowned on the world music circuit for his raw deep voice. Staying with music and the Kathryn Tickell band from Britain will keep audiences tapping their feet to the folk beats of the Northumbrian pipes; while the Canadian Genticorum trio will delight with a tapestry of North American and European folk music. Another top act is the Dulsori percussion group from Korea. These six performers infuse the Korean traditional art form of Madangnori with a modern beat. Dulsori's show is known for bringing the energy of Asian culture to audiences worldwide. The Spring Festival line-up also includes a number of local talents including the Inbal Pinto Dance Company, Idan Raichel Project, Rishon Lezion Israel Symphony Orchestra, Itamar Golan and Friends, and Nomade, among others.
