A New York Times 'Duh'

Here''s a story from today''s New York Times (a serious contender against Haaretz for the most Jewish anti-Israel media outlet):

But for all its echoes, the bloodshed that has engulfed Iraq, Lebanon and Syria in the past two weeks exposes something new and destabilizing: the emergence of a post-American Middle East in which no broker has the power, or the will, to contain the region’s sectarian hatreds.  Amid this vacuum, fanatical Islamists have flourished...

Okay, besides the very obvious conclusion that many here in Israel knew - and expected what would happen - the most important thing I think to be learned is that if Israel is turned by the US into a power that vacates Judea and Samaria, bloodshed will engulf us.
Let me repeat that:
IF ISRAEL IS TURNED BY THE US INTO A POWER THAT VACATES JUDEA AND SAMARIA, BLOODSHED WILL ENGULF US.
Is that clear, clear enough?
