Next on tap was Raanan Baranovsky (2:31) of Walla.co.il & Sport 1 & 2 to discuss the latest in Israel Football/Soccer League summer activities! We discussed Maccabi Tel Aviv and their plans with Jordi Cryuff & Oscar Garcia, plus we talked about Hapoel Tel Aviv and the ownership change along with Maccabi Haifa’s new coach Reuven Atar and what he brings to the table! Beitar Jerusalem was also examined and we came to a radical conclusion about their future! Raanan also gave us the rundown on Kiryat Shemona, Maccabi Netanya & Bnei Yehuda’s chances in European action that begins this week!

Next up was Amit Tamir (24:08), one of Israel’s top basketball players who plied his trade in the University of California and continued on to Europe and then back to Israel winning the Basketball Super League Championship a few years ago with Hapoel Holon! Amit discussed his career and current activities as The Sports Rabbi was honored to have this great athlete on the airwaves!

We discussed the potential that Alex Tyus gives to the National Team as he just received his passport and we look at Maccabi Tel Aviv and their summer of signings and non-signings as well as the IBBA Chairman controversy between Avner Koppel and Tzvika Sherf!
