1 dead, 1 seriously injured from gunfire near Maale Adumim

One person was killed and another moderately injured Thursday night after being fired upon while traveling from Ozrya to Maale Adumim, according to the Magen David Adom Spokesperson.

MDA Jerusalem crews pronounced the death of a 25-year-old man and treated another 27-year-old in moderate condition who was shot in the jaw as they arrived at the entrance to Maale Adumim.

The moderately injured man was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. According to the police, the two victims were Arab-Israelis who came under fire near Mishor Adumim.

According to initial investigations by the police, the incident appeared to be a result of a criminal feud between two sides, both of which are Arab. The two were fired upon during a drive-by shooting.
