12 reportedly killed in minibus blast in Turkey

ANKARA, Turkey — CNN-Turk television reported on Thursday that a blast killed 12 people aboard a minibus in southeast Turkey.
There are conflicting reports about how the explosion occurred which took place near the city of Hakkari, bordering Iran and Iraq. NTV television said the minibus hit a land mine while Dogan news agency suggested an explosion occurred on the minibus.
CNN-Turk television, citing Cihan news agency, also said the minibus struck a land mine.
Dogan news agency claimed the minibus was traveling between the villages of Durankaya and Gecitli.
