2 members of Shishensky C'tee threatening to resign

Some of the members of the Shishensky Committee are reevaluating their ongoing participation in the group's deliberations over raising the government's royalty fees on gas and oil finds, Army Radio reported on Wednesday.
The committee members, National Infrastructure Ministry Chief of Staff Shaul Tsemah and Yaakov Nimran, the man tasked with supervising the fossil fuel portfolio in the ministry, sent a letter to committee chair Prof. Eitan Shishensky decrying the lack of even one committee meeting regarding the continued development of the Tamar offshore natural gas field."The National Infrastructure Ministry is faithful to the continued smooth functioning of the energy market, and it does not intend to be used as a fig leaf for decisions accepted based upon external considerations [from those of committee members]," Army Radio quoted the letter as saying.
