A 53-year-old owner of a Tel Aviv bakery was stabbed and moderately wounded Friday by an employee who fled the scene on foot. The victim, a Jerusalem native, was taken to Wolfson Hospital in moderate condition. Police have not found the employee and have no motive for the stabbing.
Also on Friday, a 34-year-old Haifa man stabbed his 29-year-old wife, who was rushed to Rambam Hospital in serious condition. Police took the man into custody but said they still don’t have a motive for the stabbing, and added that there were no previous complaints issued by the wife against him.
A 21-year-old Kiryat Bialik resident was also lightly wounded in a stabbing incident on Friday. He checked himself into a local hospital, but has refused to cooperate with the police.
