4 killed in Negev junction road accident

Four people were killed on Sunday evening in a car accident at the Negev junction, near Yeruham, bringing the number of dead on Israel’s roads to nine in 24 hours.
From an initial inquiry, it appears that an IDF jeep hit a car while attempting an overtaking maneuver, and two other cars then hit the back of the military vehicle and burst into flames.
On Saturday, three people were killed in a head-on collision between the Dead Sea hotels and the Zohar junction, while two people in a stolen vehicle lost their lives when they crashed into a pole during a police chase in Tel Aviv.
