4.4 quake strikes Turkey, shakes up Istanbul, no injuries

ISTANBUL — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.4 struck northwestern Turkey but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The Istanbul-based Kandilli seismology center says the quake occurred at 8:49 p.m. (1749 GMT) Sunday. Its epicenter was in the Sea of Marmara.
The quake was felt in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city.
